Privacy Policy
Roadgames (로드게임즈, the "Company") operates the mobile game "Blade Master: Auto Battle Pro" (the "Service") and is committed to protecting the privacy of its users in accordance with the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other applicable laws. This policy describes the personal information the Company processes when providing the Service, the purposes of such processing, retention periods, and the rights available to users.
1. General
This policy applies to Blade Master: Auto Battle Pro. The Service does not provide a sign-up form or any channel through which users directly input personal information. The Company processes only the information obtained through Google Sign-In or guest (anonymous) sign-in, together with information automatically collected during use of the Service. The Service is a paid (upfront-purchase) app with no in-app purchases and no advertising; the app purchase itself is processed by Google Play, and the Company does not collect any payment information.
2. Information Collected and Method of Collection
The Company collects the following categories of information.
| Category | Items | Time of collection |
|---|---|---|
| Account (Google) | Google account identifier (uid), email, display name, profile photo URL | At Google Sign-In |
| Account (guest) | Firebase anonymous identifier (uid) | At guest sign-in |
| Game progress | Nickname, level, in-game currency, progression and other save data | During gameplay |
| Analytics & diagnostics | Device model, OS version, language setting, app version, crash logs, automatic analytics events | While using the app |
All collection is automatic. No information is entered directly by the user through a form. For guest sign-in, the only identifier the Company holds is the anonymous uid issued by Firebase; no email, name, or other identifying information is collected.
3. Purposes of Processing
The Company processes personal information solely for the following purposes.
- Identifying the account and storing/restoring save data in the cloud (manual save, triggered by the user through an in-app button)
- Diagnosing crashes and improving service stability
- Analyzing usage statistics to improve service quality — analytics events are collected only with the user's consent, and the choice can be changed at any time in the in-app Settings.
4. Retention and Use Periods
- Account and save data: deleted permanently and immediately upon the user's deletion request. No grace period or restore option is provided.
- Crash logs and analytics events: default retention of Firebase Analytics (up to 14 months).
5. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 14 or older. The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14, and Google Sign-In itself blocks accounts of users under 13, which provides an effective access barrier. If the Company becomes aware that personal information of a user under 14 has been collected, the relevant account and associated data will be deleted without delay. The Service is not directed to children and is not enrolled in Google Play Families or the Apple Kids Category.
For users in the United States, the Service is not directed to children under 13 and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in this regard.
6. Provision to Third Parties
The Company does not provide users' personal information to third parties as a general rule. Exceptions are limited to the following cases.
- The user has given prior consent.
- Disclosure is required by law or by a competent investigative authority following procedures prescribed by law.
7. Processing Entrusted to Service Providers (Including International Transfers)
The Company entrusts certain personal information processing tasks to the following service providers. This involves the transfer of personal information outside the Republic of Korea.
| Processor | Entrusted task | Country | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC | Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics | United States | Until the entrustment ends or the purpose is fulfilled |
Transfers occur over the network. If a user objects to such transfers, use of the Service may be restricted.
8. Rights of Data Subjects
Users may at any time request to access, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of their personal information. Requests may be submitted to roadgames.support@gmail.com, and the Company will respond without delay (within 10 days of receipt). If the request cannot be processed within this period due to unavoidable reasons, the Company will inform the user of the reason and the expected schedule.
Account deletion may be requested through the in-app menu (Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting the email above. Using the in-app menu permanently deletes cloud save data, the Firebase account identifier (Google or anonymous uid), and the local progress on this device immediately after a two-step confirmation. No grace period or restore option is offered, so please consider carefully before confirming.
For guest (anonymous) users, cloud data tied to an anonymous uid cannot be identified or recovered by the Company if the app is uninstalled or the device is lost, and the user cannot regain access to the same data either. For durable backups, please use Google Sign-In.
9. Information Collected Automatically
The Service automatically collects and stores the following information on the user's device.
- Local save data: stored on the device through Capacitor Preferences. Selected items may be encrypted with AES-GCM.
- Analytics events: automatic events collected by Firebase Analytics (app open, session duration, and similar) and explicit gameplay-related events. Firebase-issued anonymous identifiers (user_id — your Firebase uid for Google sign-in or anonymous uid for guests — and app instance id / user_pseudo_id) are automatically attached. No personal data such as email or name is included.
- Diagnostic information: device model, OS version, app version, language setting, and stack traces in the event of a crash.
Users may remove locally stored data by uninstalling the app.
10. Destruction of Personal Information
When the retention period has elapsed or the purpose of processing has been achieved, the Company destroys personal information without delay. Electronic files are deleted in a manner that prevents recovery, and the Company requests deletion of data held by processors. Information that must be retained under applicable laws is stored separately during the period required by such laws and then destroyed.
11. Security Measures
- Transport encryption: all external communication is protected with TLS.
- Encryption at rest: sensitive items in local save data may be encrypted with AES-GCM.
- Access control: access to processors' operational consoles is limited to the minimum number of personnel.
- Security maintenance: security updates for SDKs used by the Service are applied on a regular basis.
12. Privacy Officer and Contact
The Company designates the following Privacy Officer, who is responsible for overseeing personal information processing.
- Privacy Officer: Taehong Gil (길태홍)
- Email: roadgames.support@gmail.com
General privacy inquiries may also be directed to roadgames.support@gmail.com.
